I build WordPress websites for small businesses in the USA, from a first professional website to a full rebuild with custom functionality. I am based in Lahore, Pakistan, and work remotely with clients in the USA, UAE and UK. Around 250 WordPress projects so far, most of them for businesses that need their website to bring in calls and enquiries.
WordPress development covers a lot of ground, so this page explains what the work includes, how I decide on the right build approach, and what you get at the end.
There is no single right answer, and anyone who recommends the same approach for every project is selling their habit rather than your outcome. Here is how I decide.
Page builder (Elementor, Divi, Oxygen). Quick to build and easy to change visually. A good fit for small sites, tight budgets and businesses that want to rearrange layouts themselves. The trade-off is extra page weight and layouts that can break when edited carelessly.
Custom theme (Gutenberg blocks and ACF). Clean code, faster pages and content fields named for your business, so editors cannot accidentally break the design. A good fit for sites with many similar pages, such as services and locations, and for businesses that publish regularly. More detail on the custom WordPress themes and plugins page.
Hybrid. A custom theme for the structural pages that carry your traffic, with a builder kept available for campaign and landing pages. This is what I build most often for growing businesses.
Gutenberg block development, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, Divi and Oxygen, custom PHP, the WordPress REST API, and integrations with CRMs, scheduling tools, payment providers and email platforms. Where a project needs it, I also build outside WordPress with Next.js, Laravel and React, and I can connect AI features through the AI automation work.
Discovery. We agree what the site needs to achieve, who it is for and which pages it needs. Scope. You get a written scope, price and timeline before any payment. Build. Design and development on a staging site you can review. QA. Testing on real phones and browsers, forms, speed and basic SEO checks. Launch. Go-live, redirects where needed, Search Console setup and a walkthrough.
Yes. I start with a short audit so we both know what is there before any changes are quoted.
Yes. I work as a white label WordPress developer for agencies in the USA and UAE, inside their process and under their brand.
Smaller projects have published starting prices on the pricing page. Custom themes, plugins and larger builds are quoted from a written scope.
