Questions I get asked before we start

Where are you based, and will our hours actually overlap?

I am in Lahore, Pakistan, and I have spent five years working with teams in the USA, UAE and UK. In practice my afternoons cover UK and UAE business hours and my evenings cover US mornings, so there is a real window every working day. For anything urgent outside that, I agree a response time with you rather than leaving you guessing.

Do I own the website and the code when we are done?

Yes, all of it. The domain and hosting stay in your name, you get the full codebase, and there is no proprietary system that only I can maintain. If you decide to work with someone else later, any competent WordPress developer can pick it up. That is deliberate: work you cannot leave is not work you chose.

What do you actually build?

Mostly WordPress and WooCommerce: custom themes, plugins, conversion focused landing pages and Core Web Vitals work. I also build full custom applications, most recently a Next.js frontend on a Laravel backend, and I integrate AI where it genuinely helps, using retrieval, the Model Context Protocol and n8n. Around 250 sites delivered so far.

How long does a project take?

A focused landing page is usually days. A typical small business WordPress site is three to six weeks. A custom theme or a full application is longer and depends on scope. Content is almost always the slow part rather than the build, so I tell you up front what I need from you and when I need it.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Often yes, and it is a large part of what I do. I start by auditing what is there, because the honest answer is sometimes that a rebuild is not needed and caching, images, a plugin audit and hosting will fix it for a fraction of the cost. If a rebuild is genuinely the right call, I migrate with proper 301 redirects so your rankings come with you.

Do you work with agencies on a white label basis?

Yes. A good share of my work is as an embedded developer for agencies in the USA and UAE, working inside their tools and their process under their brand. If that is what you need, I am comfortable staying invisible to the end client.

What happens after launch?

You are not handed a login and abandoned. Handover includes a walkthrough of how to edit your own content, and I offer ongoing maintenance covering updates, backups, security and performance monitoring. If you would rather handle it in house, I will document it so your team can.

Do you actually build AI features, or just talk about them?

I build them, and I will also tell you when you do not need them. I am on the Panaversity AI-Native Software Development programme and I work with agentic systems, retrieval augmented generation, MCP and n8n. For most small businesses the honest recommendation is a grounded assistant plus a fast form, not an expensive autonomous agent.
