This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is deliberately specific rather than generic, because a privacy policy that describes a website other than this one is worth nothing to you.
The short version: the only information this site asks for is what you type into the contact form. There is no account system, no newsletter, no advertising network and nothing is sold to anyone.
Muhammad Furqan, a freelance developer based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, email mfurqanyasin9@gmail.com. It reaches me directly, not a support queue.
| Data | Why | Basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email and your message from the contact form | To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project | Your consent in sending it, then legitimate interest in replying | Up to 24 months after our last contact |
| Phone number, if you choose to include it | To call you back where that is quicker than email | Your consent | Up to 24 months after our last contact |
| Anonymised usage data: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type | To understand which pages are useful and to find technical faults | Legitimate interest in a working website | As set by the analytics provider, typically 14 months |
| Server logs, including IP address | Security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors | Legitimate interest in keeping the site available | Short term, as set by the hosting provider |
That is the complete list. This site does not ask for payment details, does not create accounts, and does not run advertising or retargeting pixels.
A small number of external services are involved in running this site. Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data.
| Service | Role | What it may receive |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting provider | Serves the website | Server logs, including IP address |
| Google Analytics | Anonymised usage statistics | Page views, approximate region, device type |
| Google Search Console | Search performance and crawl errors | Aggregated search data, no personal data |
| Email provider | Delivers and stores enquiries | The contents of your message |
Where these providers are outside your country, your data may be transferred internationally. Each operates under its own safeguards for such transfers. I do not add any further third parties without updating this page.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The only cookies that may be set are those used by the analytics service named above to tell one visit from another.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work normally. Nothing here depends on them.
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, I will honour the following on request:
Email me and I will respond within 30 days, usually far sooner. You do not need to cite legislation or use particular wording. Asking plainly is enough.
This site offers professional services to businesses and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS, kept up to date, and monitored for malware and unauthorised changes. Client credentials shared with me for project work are stored securely and removed when a project ends.
No system is perfect, and I will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurred that affected your data, I would tell you promptly and explain what happened rather than hoping you did not notice.
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Adding a tracking script or a new form without updating this page would make it inaccurate, which defeats its purpose.
